Be Obedient and Trust God With the Results with Satise Roddy
Wednesday Feb 02, 2022
Wednesday Feb 02, 2022
What a blessing to have my dear friend, Satise Roddy on the show! Satise is full of wisdom and it is so evident that she is intentional about spending time with Jesus. This will be an episode you'll return to as you continue to grow in your faith.
One of the greatest takeaways is this comment - "I pray for boldness, so when He gives me the boldness I don't shrink back. Why would I pray for something then not walk in it? I also pray to be bold and humble at the same time."
Pastor Satise Roddy is a wife, mom and grand mom. She is an Ordained
Minister, Author, Speaker, Mentor, and Police Chaplain.
Satise serves as Lead Pastor at Oasis Church in Minnetonka. She is the founder
of Satise Roddy Ministries, a speaking ministry. She also founded Destined
Women, a women’s fellowship.
She is passionate about preaching the word of God and desires to see
others walk in the freedom God has provided through His Son Jesus Christ. By
God’s grace Satise has been provided a platform to minister as a keynote speaker,
featured speaker and workshop presenter at conferences, retreats, private and
public events.

Rise Up, Woman of God! with Melissa Mashburn Pt. 2
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
Tuesday Jan 25, 2022
This week's episode is Part Two of my conversation with Melissa Mashburn. There is so much sage wisdom in this episode! One of the biggest takeaways that is also big in my heart is, "Rise up, warrior woman of God. We have work to do, and we need you!"
Hallelujah!
Melissa helps female leaders find their community, own their leadership, and take the next step. She's currently working on releasing a brand new book for women in the ministry (a "what to expect when you're a woman and you go into ministry" book) in 2022. She's also co-authored a leadership devotional book for women and leads the private Facebook community called Ministry Chick that serves over 2700 from all over the world. She's a ministry leader, speaker, author, life-breakthrough coach, and ministry consultant. Still, her real heart is to be a champion and encourager for women who feel stuck and want to rise up and do what God is calling them to do but don't even know where to begin. She has served at four different churches of various sizes over the last 20 years, giving her a wide range of experience. She currently serves at Southeast Christian Church which ministers to over 40,000 people weekly. She's been married to her best friend Matt for over 28 years. They have two adult sons, Nick and Bailey, a beautiful daughter in love, Ashley (married to Nick), a future daughter in love, Jules (coming in July 2022), and five adorable fur-grandbabies. Be Who Called You to Be with Melissa Mashburn Pt.1
Wednesday Jan 19, 2022
Wednesday Jan 19, 2022
I had a chance to sit down with my friend, Melissa Mashburn, a few weeks ago, and wow, how the Lord uses her in the lives of others is incredible! Melissa is so gifted in calling out the potential in others, encouraging women to take the risk, and "walks her talk."
One of her many words of wisdom is this - "I don't have time to be who everyone else wants me to be and at the same time be who God created me to be." There is more of that in this week's episode so click the play button and let's connect!

Tuesday Dec 14, 2021
Tuesday Dec 14, 2021
My friend, Ayana Dixon, joins us on the podcast this week. I admire her in many ways and she added such value to this week's episode! Ayana made so many great points but I think one of my favorite comments she made was about balancing ministry and family.
Family is our greatest ministry. What a timeless reminder for anyone!
Ayana Robinson Dixon was born in Poughkeepsie, New York, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana where she resided until the age of 18. She then relocated to the Washington, DC area to earn a B.A. degree from Howard University.
Ayana accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized on January 4, 1981. She rededicated her life to Christ in October 1998, and since that time has been on fire for the Lord.
She answered the call to ministry in September 2001, was licensed in May 2003 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Herndon, Virginia. She was ordained at Mount Pleasant on June 25, 2006. Ayana earned her Masters of Divinity degree at Liberty University. She loves teaching and working with children. Ayana worked with Charlotte Mecklenburg public school system for six years. Winning the War Within - Fear of Failure
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
Tuesday Dec 07, 2021
In this week's episode, we're looking at a different side of the fear of failure. Often this conversation centers around being fearful of stepping out to embark upon something new, but this week we will talk about failed attempts and fearing to try again.
Unless the Lord has closed a door or ended a season, there is always a reason to try again! One of the main points I hope you walk away with this week is that in Christ, we don't fail in totality, we fail forward. If we allow it to be, failed attempts can be a great teacher!
Looking forward to connecting with you again this week!

Winning the War Within - Perfectionism
Tuesday Nov 30, 2021
Tuesday Nov 30, 2021
You and I were never created to live airbrushed lives. What a relief! Yet, many of us struggle to overcome perfectionism in many areas of our lives.
But there's great news! You can win the battle with perfectionism!
There will always be something we lack, need to grow in, or have further developed within us because we are not perfect people. None of those things disqualify you because perfection isn't the goal; progress is!
