Staying in Your Lane with Emily Vermillion
Tuesday Jun 22, 2021
Tuesday Jun 22, 2021
We are wrapping up the series, Collaboration Over Competition, with my friend Emily Vermillion. This was such a great conversation! Emily shared a lot of wisdom and if you're discouraged by what you see someone else doing and how fast she might be doing it, this episode is for you!
You will definitely walk away feeling spurred on in your faith and value where the Lord has you right now in your ministry or stage of life.
Emily is a married mom, and Christian Life Coach. She loves personal development and reading books. Her podcast, The Thought Vault, is a Christian personal development show to help encourage others to live life with BOLD intention in faith! She loves a good chocolate chip cookie and hiking in the mountains of NC.

Bonus Episode: God of the Breakthrough
Sunday Jun 13, 2021
Sunday Jun 13, 2021
In this Bonus Episode, I wanted to share some encouragement with anyone who is in a challenging season. This is a message that God has been stirring in my heart for several weeks and while He has been encouraging me, I thought someone else might be encouraged as well.
Often when we're in a challenging season, especially if it's been a long season, it is easy to feel stuck and question where God is at in the middle of it.
I want to encourage with these words - God of the breakthrough is breaking through for you!

Tuesday Jun 01, 2021

Collaboration sounds so much better than competition, doesn't it? Yet, so often, it can be challenging to walk that out in our lives. I've seen both in my own life and would prefer collaboration any day!
This week's episode is the beginning of a mini-series on this topic and I'm thrilled to have some great friends on the show to share their insights. First up is my friend, Sue Donaldson, who is joining us all the way from sunny California. My conversation with Sue was so good we recorded it in two parts, so be sure to connect with us next week for part two! And be sure to check out her free resource just for the She Connects Podcast listeners below!

Confident in Your Own Skin with Molly Bingaman
Tuesday May 25, 2021
Tuesday May 25, 2021
This week's episode ranks up there as one of my favorites! As women, we understand the frustration with feeling self-conscious about our appearance. For some, shame whispers their worth and value is connected to that frustration. But, there is hope! And freedom!
My guest this week is Molly Bingaman, founder of Ladybird Styling located in Kansas City MO. With over ten years of experience and having been trained by Stacey London of TLC's What Not to Wear, Molly and her team at Ladybird are on a mission to help women overcome any frustration or shame in their appearance.

No Is A Complete Sentence
Tuesday May 18, 2021
Tuesday May 18, 2021
This week's episode is all about that two-letter word that equips us to develop and maintain healthy boundaries - No!
It is unrealistic to think we can be available to everyone and everything twenty-four hours a day. I needed this reminder as I began to feel the weight of invitations, messages, and just life itself.
You and I have permission to say no and contend for our health and well-being.

How Jesus Viewed Women
Tuesday May 11, 2021
Tuesday May 11, 2021
I missed the opportunity to recognize International Women's Day back in March because I was full-on She Rises 2021 Women's Conference mode. But hey, we can celebrate, honor, and show value to women any month of the year, right?!
So often women feel a need to somehow prove themselves to show they have something to bring to the table. Especially in leadership roles outside of the traditional settings, women are often met with pushback and questions about their role.
Let's connect this week and take a look at how Jesus viewed women and what He thought about women fulfilling leadership roles. I'm excited you're here this week!

Shame is Not the Boss of You
Tuesday May 04, 2021
Tuesday May 04, 2021
Ever feel the weight of shame? Me too. You're not alone, I think all of us have.
While I've gained a lot of freedom in this area of my life, every now and then shame shows up in my life as it did just a few weeks ago. Like the bully it is, shame backed me into a corner and made me question a few things in my life.
I believe shame attacks our identity in Christ and what we've been called to do on the earth. But shame is not the boss of you! It does not have permission or authority in your life. You can take authority over it and replace those lies with the truth!
I can't wait to connect with you this week!

She Rises Activated
Monday Apr 26, 2021
Monday Apr 26, 2021
This is the final episode of the three-part miniseries based on the message I gave at the recent 2021 Annual She Rises Women's Conference. In this series, we have been awakened to our identity in Christ, aligned to Kingdom principles, and this week we will take all of what we've learned and be activated as women on a mission!
We are created for impact and for such a time as this, let's rise!
Somewhere someone will be the fruit of your obedient Yes to God! The world is waiting for the daughters of the King to rise, take their position as a voice in the world and make an impact for all of eternity!
