Created for Impact with Melissa Mashburn

Tuesday Feb 16, 2021
This week I am talking with a returning guest to the show, my friend, Melissa Mashburn. Melissa first joined me on the podcast just about a year ago and together we talked about not shrinking back. It was a fantastic episode!
When thinking through this topic of rising to fulfill our God-given potential in the Kingdom Woman Series, I knew I wanted to bring Melissa back to hear her thoughts. This topic started with my interview with Jo Saxton a couple of episodes ago, followed by myself last week, and this week we will wrap up this topic.
I think I speak for all three of us that we believe you have God-given potential and what you are carrying is needed in the world. You. We need you!
Be encouraged this week and with God's help, make this the year you rise in your God-given potential to be the world-changer He created you to be!

Kingdom Women Don't Shrink Back
Tuesday Feb 09, 2021
Tuesday Feb 09, 2021
We are well into the series, Kingdom Women! It's been such a great series! This week I wanted us to connect over the topic of not shrinking back and no longer apologizing for the gifts the Lord has placed within us or the area He has called us to.
Here me - a woman's place is wherever He places her! Whether it's a stay-at-home mom, a CEO, a leader in her church, or a store clerk if He has placed her there, it is intentionally!
When you and I fully lean into who God created us to be, using the gifts He's given us, we are being faithful to Him! It's never really been about us; it has always been about Him!
Be blessed this week and empowered to believe you are a carrier of God-given potential!

Ready to Rise with Jo Saxton
Tuesday Feb 02, 2021
Tuesday Feb 02, 2021
In the Kingdom Women Series, I wanted to be sure we addressed the topic of rising to fulfill God's plan and purpose for your life. Maybe the words being created with and for a purpose is something new to you; that's okay! Let's start there!
You are not a mistake or a mere afterthought. God created you intentionally, with, and for a purpose. He placed gifts within you and as His creation, you are carrying God-given potential. What you are carrying is needed in the world; it has value and a place at the "table."
I couldn't think of anyone better to kick this topic off than Jo Saxton. In this week's episode, we talk about her newest book, Ready to Rise. I wholeheartedly believe after this episode you will be spurred on to pursue all God has for you. Jo is such an effective communicator and her investment into our lives on this episode, books she writes, the podcast she co-leads, her leadership academy, and speaking events are so impactful.
I am giving away two copies of her book, Ready to Rise, so be sure to listen for how you could win a copy!
Find out more about Jo at https://www.josaxton.com/ You can also find Jo on Facebook and Instagram. The podcast she co-leads is titled Lead Stories and can be found on any podcast platform.

Kingdom Women Series: Get Back Up!
Tuesday Jan 12, 2021
Tuesday Jan 12, 2021
Continuing with the series, this week we're reminded that in this world we may feel a little knocked around or even feel knocked down in life, but as Kingdom Women, we get back up!
Proverbs 24:16 tells us that A righteous man may fall seven times but gets back up. As Kingdom Women, we may fall seven times, but we can get back up eight, nine, ten ... time and time again because in Christ we are overcomers!
If you're feeling a little battle-weary in your faith, allow the truths in this week's episode to fan your faith into flame and spur you on! Here's to you, fellow Kingdom Woman! I am believing in and for you!

Kingdom Women Series: Better, Not Bitter
Tuesday Jan 05, 2021
Tuesday Jan 05, 2021
First up in the new series, Kingdom Women, is Better, not, Bitter. Kingdom Women allow what they're either currently going through or have been through to make them better, not bitter.
Kingdom Women aren't somehow immune from disappointments, hurts, and difficult circumstances. They experience those just like any other woman yet what separates them is how they view those things. Kingdom Women acknowledge what they're going through is hard but they understand how they view something will determine what they see, Kingdom Women make a choice to see through the lens of heaven, not the world or their feelings.
Be encouraged today! And remember, God created you to overcome! You are a victorious woman - already!

Awakened as a Kingdom Woman
Tuesday Dec 29, 2020
Tuesday Dec 29, 2020
Stoked about a new series that is on my heart as we enter 2021! I have titled it Kingdom Woman and this episode is an introduction to the series and serves as a foundation to build upon as we move through future episodes.
In this episode I share some of the topics we will be covering of what a Kingdom Woman is and does and let me just say, I'm not just a little pumped over it!
Psalms 86:11 reads, Teach me Your way, Oh Lord; and I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.
Unite. It is a singleness of the heart and a oneness in the Spirit. A Kingdom Woman breaks any allegiances she may have had with the world's system and fully aligns herself with God - who He is and what He says.
Be inspired today as you listen in!

Reclaiming 2020 with guest Amber Stumph
Tuesday Dec 01, 2020
Tuesday Dec 01, 2020
No one needs to be convinced 2020 has been challenging on every level known to mankind! It's easy to focus on all that hasn't gone well, what frustrated us, all the things that changed, or how we've had to adapt to a new way of living. And that's just naming a few!
A well-known magazine chooses a person of the year that exemplifies specific traits the magazine feels contributed to changing the world. I think if a word would be chosen for the year it would be PIVOT!
In this week's episode, I brought a friend on the show to talk about reclaiming 2020 and stepping into 2021 stronger and better. I don't know about you, but I am determined to not drag myself across the "finish line" of 2020.
Be encouraged and spurred on to reframe how you see 2020 so that you can step into 2021 stronger and better. We are excited to connect with you!
