Truth and Lies - Avoiding Deception

In this week's episode, Susan shares a vision she had while praying a few months ago. As she prayed about what she saw, the Lord said these words - The enemy is showing up to the door of My people's lives trying to sell them something that's not from Me. 

 

When the disciples asked Jesus how they would know when He would return, the first thing He said was, "Take heed no one deceives you." (see Matt. 24) The Bible warns believers against deception throughout the NT. Obviously, the Lord wanted us to be aware of deception.

 

Be encouraged today, believer in Christ, deception may abound in these days but you don't have to be a victim to it!

Why the War in Israel Matters

As you're aware, Israel was brutally attacked and is at war. Some suggest war is common in the Middle East and so this war isn't a big deal. That narrative, however, only reflects the lack of people knowing their Bible. The biblical significance of this war cannot be understated.

Onward and Upward! Staying in Step with the Lord.

I've known this day was coming for several months - the day I make the official announcement that I am stepping away from a few things ministry related. It bears noting that, as I mention in this episode, the message God has given me to carry hasn't changed, but the method is.

Good is Often the Enemy of God’s Best

I often ask, "Is this a good thing or a God thing?"  This week, we're going to talk about not settling for less than God's best in our lives. We can become great managers of good. It becomes our comfort and because it is so familiar, we stop moving forward into the things God is calling us to.

Relationships Pt. 4 Rebuilding Trust

In our final episode of the relationships series, we will talk at length about rebuilding trust so a healthy community can surround you. Often, when mistrust exists, we isolate ourselves believing that's what is best however, isolation isn't God's best for you.

 

Healing from past wounds as a result of experiences in previous relationships is vital in rebuilding trust. From there, we can implement the tips talked about in this episode to put ourselves back out there and find community!
