When You Feel Misunderstood
Tuesday Apr 25, 2023
Tuesday Apr 25, 2023
Continuing with the theme started a couple of weeks ago on what things to expect when you step out into something new or decide to go all-in with your faith, this week we will focus on how to handle being misunderstood.
Often, people attach their thoughts or expectations on others about how to do something rather than allowing them to grow and become all the Lord has called them to be.
No longer allow being misunderstood to cause you to shrink back!

The Sword of the Spirit
Tuesday Mar 28, 2023
Tuesday Mar 28, 2023
This week, we're learning what the sword of the Spirit is and how to use it effectively! Continuing to use the Roman soldier as a metaphor for the Armor of God, the soldier could have all the other pieces of his armor but without his sword, the soldier would be a sitting duck - vulnerable and defenseless!
Without the sword of Spirit in our hands, spiritually speaking, we are ineffective at engaging in spiritual warfare.

The Helmet of Salvation
Tuesday Mar 21, 2023
Tuesday Mar 21, 2023
To "wear" the helmet of salvation properly we need to understand what salvation is. In this week's episode, we'll look at key Scripture verses to understand what we're saved from and by whom.
For the Roman soldier, the helmet was a fitted piece of armor that covered his ears, and facial area, and for some, offered small protection over the eyes. We will also consider how our helmet of salvation offers us protection in those same areas.

The Shield of Faith
Tuesday Mar 14, 2023
Tuesday Mar 14, 2023
The shield of faith is the fourth piece of the Armor of God the Apostle Paul writes about in Ephesians Chapter Six. One of the things that stands out to me is that he says "...take up the shield of faith..." The words take up tell me it's something we are responsible for. In other words, there is a preparedness or readiness on our end that is required!
This episode will champion you forward and help equip you to push back the enemy when you feel opposed in your faith!

The Breastplate of Righteousness
Tuesday Feb 28, 2023
Tuesday Feb 28, 2023
This week we're continuing our series on the Armor of God with the Breastplate of Righteousness. As we look at King Solomon this week we will see that it wasn't outward pressure that harmed his leadership and the nation he led, but an inward weakness - his heart. He wasn't living a life that reflected the righteousness of God.
Righteousness and holiness still matters!
